Unknown gunmen have kidnapped the wife of a traditional ruler, Oba Rufus Olugboyega Akinrinmade, the Orunja of Odigbo, in Odigbo local government area of Ondo state.
The abductors also kidnapped the monarch’s two daughters; Mercy and Precious including his driver.
The monarch’s wife, Regina Akinrinmade, her two daughters including the driver were kidnapped on Saturday at Oba Akoko on their way to Akungba Akoko to visit another child, a student of Adekunle Ajasin University.
The monarch, Oba Rufus Olugboyega Akinrinmade, said the abductors have contacted him demanding for a ten million naira ransom.
He said the matter has been reported to the police.
Oba Akinrinmade charged the state police command to intensify efforts at recovering his family members.
