Dutch defender Daley Blind has undergone a successful heart operation after he suffered from dizziness in his club’s Champions League match against Valencia this month.
The 29-year-old has been fitted with a subcutaneous implantable cardioverter-defibrillator and placed under medical observation the club confirmed on Saturday.
The 29 year old who played for Manchester United rejoined Ajax last season and was a key member of the Club’s superb run to the Champions League semi-finals last season.
Blind has posted a video on Twitter showing his recovery and says he feels good at the moment.
