Nigeria Police Force, Kano Command has paraded one hundred and seventy-three suspects arrested for various offences in the state. The Police said the feat was achieved within eighteen days through sustained synergy with critical security agencies, volunteer security outfits,
evidence and intelligence based operations in Kano State.

7 AK47 rifles, 187 knives, 154 Machettes, 37 pointed rods and 128 clubs were recovered from the suspects.
Other items recovered include 5 cars, 2 motorcycles, a cash sum of 480 thousand naira and a large amount of Indian hemp and assorted drugs .
Earlier in December, the Police paraded 113 suspects who were also arrested in the state.
Kano Police said the suspects will be charged upon completion of investigations by the Police. Recovered items like drugs would be transferred to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA for further investigations.
