Aged women protest the take over of the Saraki political meeting point called “Ile Arugbo” along Iloffa road, GRA, Ilorin by the state government.
Kwara state government in statement said the the land belongs to the state government contrary to the erroneous belief that it belongs the Saraki political dynasty.
Ile Arugbo has been the meeting point for Saraki political allies and followers, particularly the aged women.

The presence of the police was noticed at the place earlier on Tuesday but the state police spokesperson, Ajayi Okasanmi said the presence of the police has nothing to do with the take over of the land.
He said it’s a routing police patrol during the yuletide.
