Residents of Katsina state are worried about the gradual return of crimes they thought had been tackled, despite assurances by the Police that they have the situation under control.

Recently, attacks were made by bandits on some communities in Jibia and some other local councils. A mother and her one year child who were abducted in these attacks, are still held.
But the police insists that despite these challenges, that it made a lot of achievements in the year gone by. The commissioner also commiserate with the victims and the police officers and men who lost their lives in the cause of duty.
