Ogun State government said it will soon embark on an integrated high impact preventive and curative health services, in a bid to strengthen healthcare delivery service, reduce the rate of maternal and child mortality in the state.
A Commissioner Designate in Ogun State, Tomi Coker made this known while speaking about programmes designed for implementation during the 2019/ 2020 Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Week which will start on 13th of January, 2020.
She noted that more than one million children are expected to be captured through the programme while about one point three million pregnant women are expected to benefit from the one week programme.
