One of Nigeria’s federal medical centres has received the award for the best public health institution within the commonwealth region
The maiden award presented to the federal medical centre Abuja is based on the commitment to quality service delivery to the Nigerian populace.

The Commitment of health care workers to rendering quality patient care services, in spite of the several overwhelming challenges currently facing the health care sector in Nigeria, has not gone unnoticed.
The presentation of award of excellence to the federal medical centre Abuja comes as a run up to the maiden edition of the global healthcare excellence award in 2023.
President of the commonwealth medical association is here to present two awards including an award for commonwealth health advocate to the medical director of the hospital.
The award is given to promote quality services and also motivate health care workers who give out their all to save lives of citizens.
This is the maiden edition and more countries and public health institutions have been encouraged to also take part in subsequent editions.
