The House of Representatives has asked the Federal Government to suspend the planned upward review of electricity tariff.
The House Committee on Power says the policy, scheduled for implementation from April 1, 2020, should remain on hold until it concludes talks with stakeholders.
The house of reps says it has received about 50 petitions by electricity users against government and private electricity operators.
