World Heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, prostrated before President Muhammadu Buahri in London on Saturday.
Anthony Joshua, British-Nigerian boxer, whose father is originally from Sagamu in Ogun state, met with the President who is currently in the UK for an investment summit.
According to a video and photos obtained from the twitter page of presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, Geoffrey Onyeama, minister of foreign affairs; Nìyí Adebayo, minister of industry, trade and investment; Abike Dabiri-Erewa, chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), were among those with the president when he received Joshua.
Anthony Joshua has never at any time denied his love for his Nigerian heritage. The boxer hailed Nigerians for their support shortly after reclaiming his titles from Andy Ruiz, jnr, in December.
