Life President of Nigerian Professional Golfers Association, General Ibrahim Haruna (retd) and top players of the game have described the Bayelsa 18-Hole Golf Course as world class structure which can create job opportunities and generate revenue for the state.
Mr Haruna asked the state governor’s successor to sustain the project, an opinion also shared by prominent lawyer, Joe Gadzama who also witnessed the inauguration of the Golf Course in Yenagoa.
Flags of different countries in Africa adorned the sky, announcing their presence in Yenagoa as the Inaugural Invitational Open Golf Championship
