A motor accident has claimed the lives of seventeen persons and injured fourteen others in Katsina state.
Spokesman for the Katsina State Police Command, Gambo Isah, said the accident occurred along the Mai’addua – Shargalle road in Mashi Local Government Area.
He added that the injured persons have been evacuated to a primary healthcare centre and a meeting has been summoned by all relevant stakeholders in the transport sector.
