Former President Goodluck Jonathan, on Thursday, paid an unscheduled and very short visit to President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa.
He held a closed door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari which lasted about five to ten minutes.
Mr Jonathan’s mission to the villa is unknown as he did not speak to newsmen as he was escorted by President Buhari at the forecourt of the State House.
But there are speculations that the former president was on a “thank you” visit to president Buhari, who recently consoled him over an attack on his country home in Otuoke, Bayelsa, by unknown gunmen last December.
The last time former president Jonathan visited the villa was in October 2019 when he also met with President Buhari behind closed doors.
