They said apart from being a Yoruba man, Tinubu’s pedigree and antecedents stand him out among other contestants for the post.

The convener of Southwest Agenda for Asiwaju 2023 (SWAGA), Hon Oyetunji Ojo said Southwest would deliver 15 million votes for Tinubu, saying this is achievable by mobilising the grassroots with the right approach.
He noted that over 10,000 Baales, Mogajis, and kings in Ibadanland have signed and showed interest in support of the APC candidate, claiming that this was instructed by Olubadan who sent a representative to deliver his message at the event.
