The Lagos State and Canadian government are partnering for opportunities in cyber security.
Mayor of the Canadian city of Brampton, His Worship, Mr Patrick Brown made the declaration at Lagos House on Tuesday during a visit.
The Mayor of Brampton came in company of the Canadian Deputy High Commissioner, Ryan Ward.
This is the Mayor’s second time to visit Nigeria.
This time, the purpose of his visit is to discuss investment opportunities with special focus on:
Advanced Manufacturing (Artificial Intelligence)
Health & Life Sciences
Food & Beverages
Education, especially, Innovation & Technology on Cyber Security.
Mr Patrick said that because of the resilience of Nigerians in Canada, the country decided to focus on Nigeria and see possible areas of collaboration.
For Governor Sanwoolu, Lagos is already building a future that is technology driving.
His Worship, Patrick Brown’s first visit to Nigeria was in 2007.
