Ondo state Government has transmitted a bill for the establishment of the state Security Network called Amotekun to the state House of Assembly for deliberation and passage.
Briefing Journalists at the end of the state Executive Council meeting, the state commissioner For information, Donald Ojogo and the state Attorney General,Adekola Olawoye said the move became imperative to tackle the various security challenges .
The duo said the draft bill was extensively discussed at the state executive council be it was approved
The two commissioners said the draft bill has adequately taken care of peoples concern about Amotekun
In the draft bill, traditional rulers will be given prominent role as Amotekun Ambassadors.
