The Senate Committee on Works said it is supporting the Public-Private Partnership initiative in developing the country’s infrastructure.
The Committee led by Senator Adamu Aliero gave the indication at the conclusion of inspection of some Federal Government road projects in Lagos State.
Roads inspected by the Senate committee include, the Ikorodu-Sagamu road, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, the Apapa-Oshodi and Lagos-Badagry Corridors.

The committee agrees that the country can longer rely only on budgetary allocation in building roads, railways, bridges and other capital intensive infrastructure.
