The police in Sokoto has intercepted a group of arms traffickers suspected to be suppliers for bandits, kidnappers and other criminals operating within the state.
They were paraded at the command’s headquarters, along with suspected cattle rustlers, armed robbers and a rapist of a twelve year old girl.
The commissioner of police, Ibrahim Sani, reveals the fight against criminality in the state is yielding results due to the change of strategy.

He also disclosed that the command has credible intelligence that will lead to the arrest of some suspects on its watch list.
