US President Donald Trump has arrived in Ahmedabad in India, on the first leg of his two-day official visit there.
The president who is accompanied by his wife Melania Trump, was received by Indian prime minister Narendra Modi at the airport.
Mr Trump will address a rally at a Motera stadium.
He will then travel to Agra to see the Taj Mahal, before arriving in the capital Delhi for talks on bilateral trade with Mr Modi.
The US is one of India’s most important trade partners, with bilateral trade totalling over 142 billion dollars in 2018.
