The Chief of Air Staff, Sadique Abubakar said officers of the Nigerian Air Force would keep to their mandate to end insurgency.
He said this when he paid a condolence visit to Garkida town, Adamawa state which was recently attacked by Boko Haram.
The Chief of Air Staff delegation led by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Chief of Training and Operations, AVM James Gwani, held a closed door security meeting with Governor Umaru Fintiri.
The airforce expressed its commitment to protecting the nation’s territorial integrity against Boko Haram terrorists.
The delegation includes: AVM Ademola Durotoye (Director Logistics), Air Commodore Ilemobola Abiola (Director Works), Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola (Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Muhammed Yusuf (Commander 153 BSG) and Air Commodore Chibueze Nwankwo.
