The Minister of health, Osagie Ehanire, said there is no reason to shut down schools or any place of worship in Nigeria following the outbreak of Coronavirus.
He stated this earlier today at the weekly press briefing on the coronavirus outbreak in Abuja.
Mr Ehanire said the awareness program by the government is ongoing smoothly.

The Minister also said federal government is following up with 61 contacts of index case and none has shown any sign of infection and that government is reaching out to other people who might have also come in contact with them
Mr Ehanire said there are five laboratories for COVID 19 testing across the country, and asked citizens to discourage spread of. information that cause panic.
