At least two thousand persons in Agyragu, Obi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, have been diagnosed and treated for various ailments by the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Nasarawa Province two.
The move is in line with the biblical injunction for Christians to go about doing good and winning souls for Christ.
Agyragu is a 30 minute drive from, Lafia, Nasarawa state capital.
Just like some rural communities in Nigeria, Agyragu lacks the presence of a comprehensive hospital.
Even with the availability of a Primary Healthcare Centre and other private clinics, the locals still cannot afford basic healthcare.
This is why the Redeemed Christian Church of God, organised the medical outreach to diagnose and treat the people for different ailments.
