Kano Kingmakers have arrived at the Kano government house in preparation for the announcement of a new emir, following the dethronment of Muhammadu Sanusi II.
The kingmakers are: Madakin Kano, Yusuf Nabahani, Makaman Kano; Sarki Abdullahi, Sarkin Dawaki Mai Tuta, Abubakar Tuta, Sarkin Bai, Mukhtar Adnan.
Earlier, the dethroned Emir was evicted through a back gate of the Kano Emir’s Palace by senior security operatives.
