Abductors of the African Democratic Congress candidate contesting for the Zamfara State House of Assembly, Shinkafi Constituency in the 2023 General Election, Suleiman Abdulrahaman, are demanding the sum of three Million naira for his release.
The Zamfara based Politician was abducted on the first of November this year along Shinkafi- Sokoto Road while on his way to get his credentials at the Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto.
A source close to the family of the victim said the kidnappers called a few days ago and are demanding the said amount for ransom.
They also warn the family against any delay in paying for the ransom, as they Confirmed to the family what the victim is passing through in captivity.
