The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) says it has no plan to ban some players and coaches of the Super Falcons for their role in the on-going face-off over unpaid allowances.
The Falcons, who defeated the hosts, Cameroun to win their eighth Africa Women Cup of Nations title, have embarked on a sit-in protest in Abuja over the failure of the NFF to settle their wages.
There were reports that no less than 10 of the players and some officials would be banned for life for ‘ridiculing the country before the international media.
But the NFF has said there is no iota of truth in the story.
Meanwhile, the players are still holding to the AWCON trophy at the Abuja Hotel.
