Adamawa State governor, Jibrilla Bindow, has applauded the Supreme Court ruling that turned down former governor Murtala Nyako’s plea for reinstatement.
Speaking to newsmen in Yola shortly after his arrival from Abuja, Bindow, while commending the judiciary said he was happy with the judgement, but still hold Nyako in high esteem as a father.
Bindow said that he more committed to the development of the state however call on other stakeholders to join him in moving the state forward.
On his part, former governor Murtala Nyako, who lost the bid to return to office to complete his remaining 10 months tenure, said he accepted the judgment in good faith.
Nyako said his major reason for going to court was to seek redress over what he described as ?illegal removal?.
Nyako thanked his supporters and well wishers for their support and solidarity.
