The remains of Madam Grace Akeredolu, mother of Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, have been interred in Owo, amidst glowing tribute.
The burial ceremony, which took place at the St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Owo, was attended by prominent Nigerians, including the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, state governors among others.
This is the final journey of Madam Grace Akeredolu, mother of Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu to the great beyond.
St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Owo, venue of the burial service was full to the brim by dignitaries from all walks of life, came to bid the deceased farewell.
Governors of Osun, Lagos and Ogun states, ministers, former governors among others, graced the service.
The Officiating Minister and Bishop of Anglican Diocese of Owo, Bishop Stephen Fagbemi, said the deceased left behind great legacy and children, who are doing well in different fields.
He also gave words of advice for politicians ahead the 2023 elections.
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, who spoke on behalf of the family, said his mother lived a fulfilled life.
Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo who addressed the gathering, said the deceased was an epitome of motherhood.
The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu prayed for the family and urged them to continue to promote Mama’s legacy.

The late Madam Grace Akeredolu who was a successful Trader in Ibadan died at the age of 90 a few weeks back.
She is survived by the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, a Senior advocate of Nigeria among Other Children, grand Children and great Grand Children.
She was a community leader, a devout Christian and Church leader and according to those who know and interacted with her in Ibadan where she was a successful businesswoman and Owo her home, will be missed.
