Bandits have turned some parts of Kaduna State into a killing field for years now with the State Government setting up a Ministry of Internal Security headed by Mr Samuel Aruwan to help in streamlining efforts aimed at combatting the activities of the blood sucking group.
They have abducted several individuals amassing a formidable war chest of finances and weapons culminating in the March 28 attack on the Abuja-Kaduna Passenger Train Service that killed 8 passengers and led to the abduction of dozens of Others.
The bandits later released their victims in batches after the payment of ransom.
The Federal Government has since been working to ensure that the Train service resumes and run without interruption from any quarters.
These new moves will serve as confidence building measures to ensure that people can return to use the train and also ensure that the Terrorists/Bandits collaboration that allegedly led to the attack is put asunder.
