Lawmakers on Tuesday engaged in a shouting match with the Minister of State, Labour and Employment over the recruitment of 774,000 Nigerians for special Public works programme 2020.
The federal government has inaugurated state selection committees for its special works programme ahead of October when more than seven hundred unskilled and itinerant workers are expected to be recruited for three months across all local government areas in the country.
