The Nigerian government is seeking private sector support towards the acquisition of new satellites to strengthen the existing NIG-COMSAT and boost investor confidence.
Communications Minister, Adebayo Shittu, says the government lacks the requisite fund to acquire additional satellites, which he worries has led to low patronage and loss of millions of dollars for the country.
