The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced the setting up of five new COVID – 19 testing laboratories in the country.
The agency announced this in a statement on Tuesday and said the total number of testing centers in the country is now 58.
“We are pleased to announce the inclusion of 5 new labs in our Molecular Laboratory Network:
Edo Specialist Hospital, Benin,

ATBU Teaching Hospital, Bauchi
Rivers Indorama Company Molecular Lab
State Specialist Hospital, Amachara, Abia
University of Abuja, Gwagwalada GX Lab

“There are currently 58 labs in 30 states with the capacity to test for #COVID19 in Nigeria”.
