The Progressives Congress has accused the Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, of orchestrating the attacks in front of the palace of the Oba of Benin.
The APC at a press conference described the incident as an attempt by the sitting Governor to scuttle the elections.
The APC Media team is also accusing Governor Obaseki of planning to unleash a probe on its former national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole.

The APC is calling on residents of Edo State to remain steadfast as it believes the State will experience a free and fair election devoid of rancour.
