Resident doctors at the Federal Medical Centre, Asaba, Delta State will today begin a three day warning strike.
President of the union at the Federal Medical Centre, Nwabunor Osifo, said they are not waiting for the three-week ultimatum to the Federal Government to expire.
He noted that the industrial action excludes doctors managing COVID-19 patients.
Mr Osifo called for the implementation of the resolution by the Nigerian Governors Forum regarding the payment of hazard allowance or the next step would be an indefinite strike.
