Kano State Government has released a date for the reopening of schools for senior secondary school students on August 10.
The Commissioner of Education, Muhammad Sanusi Kiru announced this in a press statement.
He said the opening is to allow SS III students to write their final examinations.
Mr Kiru added that boarding students will resume on August 9.

The commissioner also directed all principals to make proper arrangements for the returning students.
