The Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps, Bayelsa Command has rewarded five officers for exceptional service in the fight against pipeline vandalism, illegal bunkering and sundry vices in the state.
State Commandant Desmond Agu also charged the officers to step up their game while collaborating with other security agencies.

Officers of the Bayelsa Command of the NSCDC braced up for the award ceremony, but in the end only five were rewarded for exceptional service in the outgone year 2016.
Commandant Desmond Agu thanked both state and federal governments for their support, but calls for more assistance for better performance.
