The Nigeria Labour Congress and the Federal Government have agreed on a truce and the planned nationwide strike suspended.
Some of the resolutions reached in a communique that was issued include Government rolling out palliatives for labour (details in 2 weeks). Electricity tariffs has also been suspended for two weeks with a joint committee headed by @fkeyamo to examine the justification for the new policy.
