Four hundred billion naira has been shared among the three tiers of government for December 2016. This was higher than the three hundred and eighty six billion Naira distributed in November.
Gross statutory revenue for the month stood at two hundred and forty nine billion Naira more than the previous month’s by eight point five billion Naira.
The federation revenue was grossly affected by crude production shut-ins and shut-downs.
There was over sixty five million dollar decline in federation export sales owing to a drop in crude oil export volume of one point three million barrels.

The finance commissioners at the revenue sharing event say they are being challenged more than ever to find alternative revenue means.
