The Youth Initiative for Advocacy Growth and Advancement Africa in it’s mid-day preview of the ongoing Ondo Governorship election, has commended INEC on the deployment of election material and security personnel.
Brieifng journalists at its situation room in Akure, YIAGA AFRICA says it received 13 major incident reports of Vote buying, disruption of voting process, and vote interference.
It recommended that INEC should ensure that form EC8A for each polling unit is uploaded on the INEC result viewing portal and also post information on polling units where elections did not hold or results were cancelled.

Eligible voters in Ondo state will today vote to elect another governor that will govern the affairs of the state for another years in office.
Seventeen political parties, including the All Progressives Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party, are fielding candidates in today’s governorship election in Ondo State.
However, there are only three main contestants and analysts have predicted the poll will largely be a three-horse race.
The three parties are the ruling APC, PDP, and the Zenith Labour Party, with Akeredolu, Mr Eyitayo Jegede, and Deputy Governor Agboola Ajayi as the respective candidates.
