As part of deepening Nigeria’s democracy and improving on the gains of the 2015 general elections, leading politicians in the country are holding a three-day meeting in the nation’s capital to chart a new course for democracy.
The summit will discuss issues relating to the nation’s political environment and also proffer solutions to some challenges of governance.
The 2015 general elections is now a reference point among political class in Nigeria and Africa on the changing face of politics on the continent.
Sadly, with the election over, the country seems to have retrogressed in a number of areas back to its pre-election status in matters of democracy and governance.
The maiden edition of the national political summit, entitled “consolidating the gains and building positive political culture for sustainable democracy in Nigeria”, is aimed at promoting internal party democracy in the country.
Post-election Confidence building amongst political class and electorates remains a challenge.
A former lawmaker Ghali Na’aba says the continued absence of internal democracy and due process have further complicated the issue of governance.
The continuous decay in value, decline in the spirit of nationalism and promotion of regional chauvinism has become the order of the day.
The summit is expected to provide a strategic framework of action for political development in Nigeria, which will be above political or ethnic lines.
You cannot ask for any more unifying factor than what I already provided to enable you evolve this simple but important factor! Here is the irony in Nigeria; You are using my election solution of Option A-4 and the adjuncts I have said this time without numbers now and nobody in the administrations including the ‘Heads’ of Department has said or raised concerns about the claim even though evidence exist for these claim and some other solutions yet you keep going round and round until somebody works out the ‘germ’ in my solutions and thereafter he’ll claim it to be official not related to (the idea coming from) me but from them! I am wondering is this how President M. Buhari’s is going to rid Nigeria from corruption including for plagiarizing authors works? In my correspondence to the Presidency and the Senate President submitted on 2nd February 2015 you will see that what they are discussing – the remit (including the ‘prompted new’ idea of Obasanjo about Igbo participation in ‘THE PRESIDENCY CADRE’ for Nigeria, is discussed and in particular in the follow up dated 4th June 2015 you will find over 60 areas where Buhari’s administration is advised to look into so as to discover compatible solutions that help Nigeria areas like the (TSA) and more so the First Lady’s acclaimed desire for ‘The Role to be played by women’ about corruption in Nigeria – all that evidently showing in my submissions yet nothing said from the Presidency or from the (SGF) and you are talking about corruption, folks!
Incidentally I am preparing a publication which will tell the full stories about my contributions and for information nobody should blame me for the revelations because, as you’ll observe in the prose, I tried sufficiently to raise alarms or draw attentions – for example in my: “Like the child crying profoundly and pointing its finger in a direction…….!” and they are all brushed aside! The publication is not intended to embarrass anybody but to state the facts about things happening wrongly administrative back stage in Nigeria! Tell you the truth you’ll shudder about what you read on the publication not seditious but facts backed by the dates of submission to the administrations!
See the problem why I said: Nigeria is in a QUANDARY afflicting even the PhD holders – you’ll see that even with this posting, factual as it is, the officials will be less perturbed leaves wondering what kind of leadership we have in Nigeria even though the ‘jingle’ now says – “Say something if you see something going wrong!”, folks!
