Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has charged Private Sector Agencies to go beyond mere revenue generation, but also see themselves as facilitators in order to remain key participants in the economy.
Osinbajo gave this charge at the Media Launch of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Clinics at the State House Banquet Hall, Abuja.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo said the establishment of the initiative is the Federal Government’s way of addressing the challenges faced by MSMEs.
It may be an initiative coming at an auspicious time with the Federal Government’s disturbing discovery that its agencies are yet to buy into a major pillar of its economic recovery plan which is to make doing business easier in Nigeria.
And as a result of the findings, the government has pledged to take the necessary steps to change the orientation of its various agencies.
