The Chief Judge Of Edo State, Justice Esther Edigie has administered Oath of office on Godwin Obaseki and Philip Shaibu as Governor and Deputy Governor of the state for Second term in Office.
The event took place at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium on Thursday.
Obaseki won re-election in September under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party. He was screened out by the APC Screening committee, a decision tha forced him out of the party.
He defeated his close rival and candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Osagie Ize-Iyamu in the September 19 governorship election.
