The Rivers State Police commissioner, Francis Odesanya has died.
He died at a hospital in India after a brief illness.
The Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris confirmed his death through a statement released by the Force PRO, Jimih Moshood
Odesanya was posted as commissioner to the Rivers state police command on July the 20th, 2016, a position he held until his death

The CP who died at the age of 56 hails from Ikenne, Ogun state.
