Trial of the embattled leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, and his wife, Zeenat has resumed at the Kaduna State High Court.
And as usual several roads in the state capital have been cordoned off, and residents are advised to use routes not close to the state high court.
Security personnel are at high alert to forestall breakdown of law and order.

Lead counsel to the Shi’ite sect, Femi Falana is expected in court with his team as defence counsel.
The presiding judge, Gideon Kurada at the last sitting adjourned the case to 8th and 9th March after the prosecution counsel, Chris Umar presented two more witnesses before the court.
However, only one of them testified at the last sitting while the other is expected to testify at today’s sitting.
