The Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASSAN) Yobe State House of Assembly chapter, has sealed the state assembly following the directives issued to all states by the National body of the association.
According to the chairman of PASSAN Yobe state chapter, Comrade Zanna Ali, he notes that The action was as a result of the non-implementation of the financial autonomy for the State legislature and judiciary as enshrined in the 1999 constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria.
The aggrieved members were seen protesting in front of the state assembly complex, carrying placards with various inscriptions to register their grievances.
The action carried out by the protesters has disrupt seating of the house for today.
