Minister of Works, Power And Housing Babatunde Fashola says the Federal government is willing to collaborate with the Bayelsa State government to address developmental challenges occasioned by the peculiar terrain.
TVC Ovieteme George reports that Minister of Works, Power and Housing, Babatunde Fashola stopped at Yenegwe /Okarki /Kolo road to ascertain the level of work abandoned attributedly to paucity of fund.He told the contractor to resume work on the road with a promise to address the financial challenges.
Fashola later arrived the Bayelsa State government house for a meeting with governor Seriake Dickson.
The Works, Housing And Power Minister spoke on the wide range of issues including the difficult terrain, the Gbarain Ubie Gas plant with periodic liquidity problems and the wrong narratives of Bayelsa State in the public domain.
Governor Dickson and Minister Fashola also discussed the three Senatorial roads and the need for a Federal government take over.
