Anambra State Commissioner for Public Utilities, Emeka Ezenwanne, who was kidnapped by unknown gunmen during an attack on former CBN Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has regained his freedom.
TVC news was informed by one of the Commissioner’s kinsmen that he was released around
1am today, Sunday.
Efforts to reach the Anambra State police spokesperson Tochukwu Ikenga for confirmation was not successful as his phone number was not reachable
Reports say Engr. Ezenwanne is in good state on mind, but it is unknown if ransom was paid for his release is unclear as at the time of filling this report.
The police earlier reported arrest of five suspects in connection with the March 31 Isuofia policemen killings., with assurance to unearth the perpetrators behind the unfortunate incident and to secure the release of Engr. Emeka Ezenwanne unhurt from his abductors.
