In a statement by the Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator Mr Edward Kallon said the group launched an attack on Saturday night through Sunday morning, setting ablaze the humanitarian facilities.
According to the statement, humanitarian operations in Damasak will be turned down and this will affect their support to 8,800 internally displaced persons and 76,000 people living in host communities.
It cautioned that civilians and aid workers, their facilities and assets should not be target during conflict situations.
