Aides of National Assembly members on Tuesday staged a peaceful protest at the lobby of the complex demanding payment of arrears of salaries.
They accuse the national Assembly management of failing to implement the report of the Committee on House Services which recommended immediate payment of accumulated salaries and other issues.
These include the implementation of the Consolidated Legislative Salary Structure, CONLESS, payment of Duty Tour Allowance, Condition of Service and implementation of minimum wage.
The angry aides capitalised on the arrival of the Speaker to present their demands. Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila assured them their demands would be looked into.
