The Osun State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mutiu Agboke was addressing journalists during a road show and sensitization rally organized by the Commission in collaboration with a Nongovernmental organization ahead of the general Elections.
The total number of registered voters in Osun is put at 1, 955,657.
Out of this, 1, 548, 492 people have collected their PVCs while 407,165 are yet to collect theirs.
This sensitization rally is to educate and encourage eligible voters in the state to get their permanent Voter cards ahead of the elections.
Led by the State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mutiu Agboke, officials of the commission and members of the partnering NGO moved round major streets in Osogbo before the rally was terminated at Oja-Oba.
