The Director General of the National Biotechnology Development Agency, Professor Abdullahi Mustapha, said farmers are to get the pod borer resistant cowpea seeds this farming season.
Professor Mustapha made this known in Abuja.
He also hinted that a stewardship committee to oversee the deployment of the modified cowpea variety has been put in place.
