Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has been sworn as the sixth democratically elected Governor of Ondo state amidst pomp and ceremony.
TVC’s Ayodeji Moradeyo reports that Akure sports complex, venue of the event was turned to a carnival like atmosphere.
In his maiden speech, the new governor promised to fulfill his electioneering promises and vowed to be preoccupied with how to build rapid development to the state.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by key members of the All Progressives Congress including the party’s national leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senate President, Bukola Saraki, national chairman of APC, John Oyegun amongst others.
